Technology that helps carers practise, learn and care well.

We build technology for mental health, rehabilitation and home care, designed by clinicians and made for the languages people speak in Hong Kong.

Each client is adapted from a de-identified real case, and more are on the way. Practise with quick drills or full MI and CBT sessions.

Our mission

Good care takes practice. We make practice safe and always within reach.

Students and professionals need many hours of practice before and alongside real work with people. We build realistic ways to get those hours.

Led by clinicians

Products start from frontline counselling and therapy experience, and are reviewed by people who train and supervise.

Made for Hong Kong

Cantonese and Mandarin first, with cases and wording that fit local services and local lives.

Safe by design

Practice cases are de-identified, and practice is kept separate from real care. Privacy follows Hong Kong's PDPO.

Team

The people behind our work

Mr Cyrus CHEUNG

Founder and Product Lead

Mr Cheung is a Registered Occupational Therapist with experience in both mental health and physical rehabilitation. He holds a Master of Social Sciences (Mental Health), majoring in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and completed the Certified Teacher Training of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford Mindfulness Centre.

Mr Cheung brings more than 10 years of experience from both hospital and community services. His work in public psychiatric services gave him valuable insight into mental health care across settings, from early psychosis and in-patient care to substance abuse, day hospital and out-patient services.

His practice also extends to physical rehabilitation and dementia care for older adults. In elderly rehabilitation and community services, he carried out home modification and fall prevention work, helping older people and their families make homes safer and daily life more independent. This work gave him a practical understanding of how health, function and the home environment affect one another.

In community settings, Mr Cheung collaborated with different community services, including both physical and psychiatric rehabilitation services. He also brought his work into schools and universities, supporting students, training teachers, and delivering mental health education and mental health first aid. He is passionate about educating the next generation of health professionals as a clinical educator.

Across these settings, Mr Cheung has seen where services fall short of what people need, for service users, their families, and the professionals who support them. He founded Nova Healthtech to turn this fieldwork experience into products that meet real needs in society. He believes good products start from the front line: from listening to the people who give and receive care every day.
